How it works
Read what changed
Start in the newsroom. Each story links the regulator's or utility's own document and uses its date, so you know what applies and since when.
Check your own market
Our province and territory pages list the boiler regulators, heating patterns and current programs in each region, and our service pages show how a boiler company can be found for them.

BoilerNews.ca does two things for Canadian boiler companies. It reports the changes that shape the trade: which boiler code edition a province enforces, what a new gas code amendment asks technicians to check, which utility rebates have opened or closed. And it helps boiler owners use that knowledge in their marketing, so the company that understands a change is also the one a property manager or homeowner finds when they search for help.
What's in the newsroom now
The short answer: eight sourced stories from regulators, governments and utilities, each ending with a labelled analysis for boiler businesses.
- Ontario's gas code amendment. TSSA's FS-279-26 adopted CSA B149.1-25 from June 1, 2026, with new clauses on low-water cut-offs, residential boiler venting and a heating-season CO check on some natural-draft boilers.
- A two-edition boiler code. ABSA's October 2026 bulletin confirms Alberta kept CSA B51:19, while Ontario, BC and Manitoba enforce the 2024 edition.
- New and changing regulators. The NWT's Technical Safety Act received assent in March 2026, and Quebec published a draft rewrite of its pressure-installation rules.
- Money matters. TSSA raised inspection certificate fees in January 2026, and SaskEnergy closed its commercial boiler rebate to new applicants in August.
Everything is in the newsroom, with the most useful stories grouped by topic.
Who reads BoilerNews.ca
Owners and managers of companies that sell, install and service boilers. That includes residential hydronic specialists replacing cast-iron boilers in older homes, gas fitters who add combi boilers to their furnace work, and commercial mechanical contractors who look after plant rooms in apartment buildings, schools and offices.
What they have in common is a market shaped by rules. Boilers sit under provincial pressure-equipment and gas safety regimes, and the details vary by province. A company that keeps up with those details and explains them plainly to customers has an advantage that has nothing to do with ad spend.
How the news connects to marketing
Regulatory change creates search demand. When a rebate closes, homeowners search for what replaced it. When a safety check becomes mandatory, customers search for why the technician tested their boiler. When a code changes, commercial buyers look for contractors who clearly know the current edition.
We help boiler companies answer those searches with accurate, dated pages, then make sure the pages are found and the phone rings. Our four services:
- Search visibility for boiler companies: Google Business Profile, local pages and the questions buyers actually ask.
- Paid search for boiler calls: ads for replacement and no-heat searches, with wasted clicks cut.
- Websites for boiler contractors: sites that explain options and rebates clearly and keep your phone number a single tap away.
- Regulation and rebate content: turning each change into a page your customers can use.
What we're not
We are not a boiler contractor. We don't install, repair, inspect or service anything, and we don't give compliance advice. Our newsroom summarises and links regulators; questions about a specific installation belong with the regulator or a qualified professional.
We're a marketing and business consulting service. BoilerNews.ca is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA, who has more than 17 years of digital marketing experience and has built 150+ live HVAC websites.
Proof from our boiler and HVAC work

- GasBoilers.ca: the gas-boiler division we built for CANRO Heat now covers 26+ BC communities, rated 5.0★ from 76+ Google reviews.
- BoilerPart.ca grew organic traffic 180% with 2,000+ programmatic pages.
None of that means your company will see the same numbers. It shows what the method can do in this trade. The full set is on our results page, and the wider portfolio is at HVAC.Agency case studies.
Where we work
Everywhere in Canada. The boiler market looks very different from coast to coast: oil-heated homes in the Atlantic provinces, natural gas across the Prairies and Ontario, electric heating in Quebec, and long, extreme heating seasons in the North. Our areas page has a page for every province, plus one for the three territories, each with the local regulator, heating patterns and current programs.
Pricing and first steps
Our plans follow HVAC.Agency's published pricing: Starter at $2,998 a month, Growth at $4,498 and Elite at $8,998, with websites from $3,500. Sales tax is your province's GST or HST, or GST and QST in Quebec. You can start with a 7-day free trial that includes a marketing audit, website check, SEO analysis and competitor benchmarking, with no credit card. Details are on our pricing page, and answers to common questions are on the FAQ.
When you're ready, contact us. Call, text or email, and tell us your service area and the kind of boiler work you want more of.
